QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

Ask a Question

It says it has a minimum and maximum operating temperature. What happens if it gets hotter that 85 degrees?

The panel is rated for an operating temperature range of -40°C to 85°C (-40°F to 185°F). However, if the temperature gets extremely high and reaches over 100°C (212°F), the unit will stop working as an over-temperature protection measure.
Can you use two panels in parallel? If so, how do you connect them?

Yes, you can use two panels in parallel. Simply connect both panels to the same battery terminals: the positive (+) wires from both panels to the battery positive terminal, and the negative (-) wires to the battery negative terminal.

How to clean

The most effective way to clean your solar panels is with a hose and a bucket of soapy water. Essentially, in the same manner you would wash your car at home. Because you don’t want to scratch the panels in any way, it’s best to use just water and a non-abrasive sponge to apply soapy water. Keep in mind that you shouldn’t use any type of high-pressure water sprayer when washing off your solar panels. A high-pressure attachment can damage the solar panels themselves.
What is the minimum and maximum operating temperature range of this device?

-40 to 85 degree
